Her score is not only two points better than genius German physicist Einstein and Professor Stephen Hawking, but puts her in the top one per cent of intelligent people in the world.

Anonymous asked: Hi! I've seen so many posts about people freaking out over how Americans make tea (usually in the microwave), and I can't help but wonder why that is. How does one make a perfect cup of tea?

Ok so you can’t really make a proper cup of tea unless you’re British, because obviously we have the ‘Tea-Making’ Diplomas that the queen presents us with at birth blah blah blah, but you can make the next best thing. (There are actually two ways, I will go through them both bEAR WITH ME.)

Method One: best for one or two cups.

1. Get a kettle and fill it with cold water, there is a gauge on the side so u know how many cups you’ll get with the amount of water but idk a single person who bothers with this so JUST GUESS (also you can boil water in a pan if you dont have a kettle dont want to exclude u guys gosh)

2. Whilst you’re waiting for the kettle to boil, you get your cups - as I say, usually one or two for this method - and put a tea bag in each. If you/anyone else take/s sugar fo sho, you can put that in now - pretty sweet geddit

3. When the kettle has finALLY finished boiling, pour the water into each cup - leave a bit of room at the top duh

4. Add milk to taste/colour preference and vOILA POPULARITY IN A CUP

Method two: (told you this was a snazzy tutorial) best for 3+ cups

1. Same as step one, but you want to fill that motherfucker up to the mAXIMUM LEVEL

2. Whilst it’s boiling, get a TEAPOT - thats right we are stepping up the motherfucking class - and 3 or 4 teabags BUT WAIT DON’T PUT THEM IN YET DUDE HOLD YOUR HORSES DO YOU THINK THIS IS A JOKE

3. When the kettle has boiled, put an inch or so of boiling water into the bottom of the teapot - swish it around a bit and get the kettle all hot and steamy (think sex but not), this is the well guarded secret that all grandmothers keep i stg i had to torture my grandma to find this out (no i didnt)(lol i did)(stfu i really didnt)

4. When it’s all steamy and sexual in your teapot, throw in your teabags and let it all brew for a minute or so

5. Pour the tea into each cup, again leaving enough room for milk. Add milk and/or sugar to each individual cup to taste and colour preference and THERE YOU HAVE IT

YOU ARE NOW A TEA MAKING CHAMPION although i wouldn’t brag about this because seriously people will kill for these secrets, watch your backs out there brothers

goodbye for now, or as we say in england - PIP PIP CHEERIO

in America we blaspheme and use a microwave more often tan not…

also no milk, milk is for hot cocoa

AMERICANS ARE SICK

LIES I USE A KETTLE FOR MAKING MY TEA WHO USES A MICROWAVE YOU HEATHENS

wait a microwave ?!!?!! for tea ?!?!? cries

1st photo: age 9, happy enjoying life nestled in the safe cocoon that is childhood. My life was pretty much perfect. I loved school, my family and friends. One day the school weigh me. We receive a letter home a week later stating I am overweight and something needs to be done. Surely a child’s happiness comes before society’s desire for everyone to be in a healthy weight range? Apparently not.

Photos 2 and 3: the starts of an illness that would take away so so much. I’m starting to question myself and everything I’d ever thought. ‘I will be happier when I’m skinny’ ‘I will start high school as one of the pretty girls’. No child should ever have these thoughts. I’m gradually starting to lose myself and push my loved ones away.

Photos: 3, 4, and 5 a little girl on the verge of death. Just 12 years old and consumed by an illness that is making her want to die. Skinny didn’t bring me happy it brought me anything but. I should’ve been out eating sweets and making friends, instead we have a hollow shell. I believed the only way out was to die, then the pain would stop. This is the start of my long and tiresome recovery journey. 2 weeks hospitalised, 9 months inpatient and a lot of perseverance.

Photo number 6: me now age 13 slowly rebuilding a life that an illness I never asked for took away from me. I struggle I cry but I keep going. I keep going because in my mind there is no other option. I want life, and I plan on living.

I have to admit I am angry. I am angry that I, like so many other girls, have been forced to grow up too quickly. I am angry that I got lumped with this illness. I am angry that even though the average age for eating disorder sufferers is getting younger and younger that they still choose to weigh children at primary school. I am angry that society still idolises being thing like it is the answer to all happiness. No one I repeat no one should have to suffer the ordeal that is an eating disorder. So please let’s stop shoving weight loss diets and fitness programmes into every corner of this earth where young children are so susceptible to see it. Please, let little girls be little girls.

This brought tears to my eyes. You have come so far Sophie, my goodness. It makes me so angry that society does this sort of thing to people. Nobody should be put through that, and even have their CHILDHOOD taken away from them. :(

this. wow. you amaze me girl, you truly do. You are so immensely strong for overcoming this and I hope that this for you, is the beginning of a happy life, because you girl, deserve to be truly happy. You’re beautiful, inside and out <3

The app that let’s you run (or bike) for charity!

girlgrowingsmall:

Charity Miles is an app I found out about around a month ago, and now I don’t just run, I philanthropically run. Oh yeah, I said that.

Charity Miles donates:

  • 25 cents for every mile you run
  • 10 cents for every mile you bike

All this goes to a charity of your choice. It’s a great way to donate to a meaningful cause while simultaneously getting a good workout. Like, this is so easy guys. Let’s say you run on average 20 miles total a week well then BOOM KANANI $5 was just donated to your fav charity and all you did was do the workout you were going to do anyway.

image

If you are into fitness, download the app and spread the word! Get your ass out there and go running (or cycling, whatever tickles your peach).

This is awesome! Downloading right now. This will totally keep me motivated.
